Terms of Use

At Render Fika Sammu, we have established the following terms of use to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests using our facilities.
By using our facilities, you agree to these terms and must abide by them.
Violation of these terms may result in a staff member asking you to leave the premises.
In the event of expulsion due to a violation, no refunds will be issued, and future use of the facilities will be prohibited.

Article 1 (Scope and Compliance with Terms of Use)

  1. Facility users must comply with the facility rules set by and displayed within the facility.
  2. Contracts related to accommodation, facility-provided items, experiences, and services made between the facility and the user shall be governed by these terms of use, and any matters not covered by these terms shall be governed by laws and generally accepted customs.
    If there are any matters not specified in these terms, they shall be in accordance with applicable laws or generally established customs.

Article 2 (Precautions for Facility Use)

-General-

(1) Please adhere to the check-in and check-out times as well as the service hours specified at the time of your reservation. Overstaying, even by a minute in the reserved bath or sauna, may delay service for subsequent guests, and a late fee will be charged.
(2) Please refrain from entering or exiting the facility premises by car between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM, except in emergencies.
(3)Smoking outside designated areas will result in expulsion from the facility. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
(4)Please dispose of only waste generated at the facility in the designated bins and follow proper disposal methods. Check the signs on the bins for details.
(5)If you are found damaging or collecting plants, trees, or natural environments, you will be expelled and charged for damages.
(6) For information on liability for incidents, accidents, injuries, or theft, please refer to Article 13.
(7)Before using any facility services, please read and understand any posted warnings.
(8)Entering restricted areas or trespassing on property outside of the facility may result in expulsion.
(9) Vehicles must be driven at speeds under 10 km/h within the premises.
(10) Noise pollution or activities disturbing neighbors, such as drones or remote-controlled aircraft, are prohibited.

-Camping Site-

(1) Fires must be extinguished by 9:00 PM, and lights turned off by 10:00 PM. Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be mindful of children and pets during this time.
(2)Please avoid the use of generators or vehicle idling to prevent noise and health disturbances to others.
(3)Open fires are prohibited. Use a fire pit, and in windy conditions, fires may be restricted for safety reasons.
(4) Fireworks are not permitted.
(5)Keep the volume of music players and instruments low so they are only audible within 5 meters from your tent. Music is prohibited after 9:00 PM.
(6) Each tent must have at least one adult (guardian or leader) present.
(7)For groups of 10 or more, please inform us in advance via phone or notes during reservation for special guidelines and instructions.
(8)In emergencies during unstaffed nighttime hours, please refer to the sign by the dog-washing area of the management building for emergency contact or use the ALSOK emergency response service as needed.
(9) Electricity is only available at sites equipped with outlets. Please use rental items as needed.

-Pets-

(1) Your dog must have received rabies and combination vaccines within the past year and be free from contagious diseases or health issues.
(2) Dogs in heat are not allowed.
(3)Dogs must not be aggressive towards people or other dogs, and owners must be able to control them, with no excessive barking or problematic behavior.
(4) Please put a leash on your dog if they are likely to jump over fences, even within the dog run.
(5)Please keep your dog only in designated areas. Always leash your dog when leaving the dog run.
(6) Do not leave your dog unattended.
(7) The facility is not responsible for dog-related incidents or injuries, so please be vigilant.
(8) Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste properly. Pour plenty of water on spots where your dog urinates.
(9)If your dog barks excessively, please manage them to avoid disturbing others. If it persists, you may be asked to leave.
(10) Please refrain from actions like throwing objects far or other activities that may disturb other guests.
(11) Do not exceed the allowed number of dogs per dog run site as per regulations.
(12) Bathing or grooming your dog is not allowed within the dog run.
(13) If your dog sheds heavily during brushing, please dispose of the hair responsibly.
(14)Do not interact with other guests' dogs or give them treats without permission from the dog's owner.
(15)Please read and adhere to the dog run site regulations before use.

-Private Bath & Sauna-

(1) Baths are cleaned before each reservation. Do not unplug the drain stopper for inspection purposes.
(2) Refrain from loud conversations or actions that may disturb others, including children.
(3) Do not touch or remove any plants or stones in the courtyard.
(4) Hair dyeing is not permitted.
(5) Smoking, as well as bringing in alcohol or food, is prohibited in the bath and changing areas.
(6) Do not run or jump into the baths.
(7) Do not use personal bath additives in the baths.
(8) Avoid actions that disrupt operations or damage facilities or equipment.
(9) Do not pour water on the plants.
(10) Bathing with clothes on is not allowed.
(11) Pets are not allowed.
(12) Those who are unwell, intoxicated, or experiencing symptoms of illness, as well as menstruating individuals, may not use the facilities.
(13)Please read and follow the regulations posted in each room before using the baths or saunas.

Article 3 (Application for Facility Service Use Contract)

Anyone wishing to apply for an accommodation contract at our facility must inform us of the following details:
(1) Name of the user
(2) Date of use and estimated arrival time
(3) Usage fee
(4) Age classification of accompanying persons (adult, child, infant)
(5) Other information deemed necessary by the facility

Article 4 (Establishment of Facility Service Use Contract, etc.)

  1. Once the facility service use contract is established, users must pay the usage fee specified by the facility by the time of reservation or by a date designated by the facility.
  2. If the usage fee is not paid by the designated date, the contract will be void.

Article 5 (Refusal of Facility Service Use Contract)

The facility may refuse to enter into a facility service use contract in the following cases:
(1) When the application for service use does not comply with these terms of use.
(2) When the facility is fully booked and cannot accommodate more guests.
(3) When there is a risk that the applicant may act against laws, public order, or morality.
(4) When the applicant falls under any of the following categories:
a) Organized crime groups as defined by the Anti-Boryokudan Law, group members, or affiliated persons.
b) Corporations or organizations under the control of organized crime groups or members.
c) Corporations with executives who are members of organized crime groups.
(5) When the applicant has exhibited behavior that would significantly disturb other guests.
(6) When the applicant is suspected of having a contagious disease.
(7) When violent demands or unreasonable requests are made in connection with the use of the facility.
(8) When accommodation is not possible due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
(9) When the applicant falls under cases defined by prefectural regulations.

Article 6 (Right to Terminate Facility Service Use Contract)

  1. The facility may terminate the service use contract in the following cases:
    (1) When the user acts or is likely to act against laws, public order, or morality.
    (2) When the user falls under any of the following categories:
    a) Organized crime groups, group members, or affiliated persons.
    b) Corporations or organizations controlled by organized crime groups.
    c) Corporations with executives who are members of organized crime groups.
    (3) When the user has exhibited behavior that significantly disturbs other guests.
    (4) When the user is suspected of having a contagious disease.
    (5) When violent demands or unreasonable requests are made in connection with facility use.
    (6) When natural disasters or other force majeure events make facility use impossible.
    (7) When the user falls under cases defined by prefectural regulations.
    (8) When the user fails to comply with the facility's prohibited activities.
    (9) When the user smokes in non-smoking areas.
    (10) When the user brings or attempts to bring the following items into the facility:
    a) Unlicensed firearms
    b) Unlicensed blades
    c) Items emitting extremely foul odors
    d) Items of excessively large quantity
    e) Highly flammable items
    f) Animals or insects other than dogs
    (11) When facility property is removed or relocated without permission.
    (12) When the user attempts to alter, modify, or damage the facility, its equipment, or natural features.
    (13) When overbooking occurs due to system errors.
    (14) When the user does not follow specific usage guidelines.
  2. If the facility terminates the service use contract under any of the cases except (6), (7), or (13), fees for services already provided or yet to be used will not be refunded.

Article 7 (Use Time of Facility Services)

  1. Please adhere to the service hours specified at the time of reservation.
  2. Extensions to service times are only permitted if the user requests it in advance, and the facility confirms availability. Additional fees will apply.
  3. Unauthorized extensions will result in the following fees:
    (1) For accommodation, a 30% surcharge for up to 1 hour, 50% for 1-2 hours, and 100% for over 2 hours past the check-out time.
    (2) For private bath or sauna reservations, a 30% surcharge for up to 15 minutes, and 100% for over 15 minutes.
  4. If you occupy a space longer than necessary, you may be charged an additional fee.

Article 8 (Business Hours)

  1. Business hours for various services and check-in times are posted on the reservation website.
  2. In case of closures or schedule changes, we will notify you via the reservation website or by email.
  3. Emergency contact information is listed on your reservation email and on the wall sign near the dog-washing area of the management building.

Article 9 (Payment of Fees)

Our facility accepts cashless payments. Please pay by credit card or electronic money.

Article 10 (User Responsibilities)

  1. Facility users are responsible for the following:
    (1) Resolving disputes, accidents, incidents, losses, injuries, or theft among users.
    (2) Damage from natural events such as falling branches, lightning, or wildlife in the forest environment.
    (3) Incidents involving children or dogs within the facility.
    (4) Injuries or accidents in playground areas (use playgrounds only after reading and accepting the posted signs).
    (5) Fires or damage caused by user-operated fire equipment.
    (6) Noise or nuisance caused to neighbors or employees.
    (7) Illness, injury, or other issues caused by user-provided food or equipment.
    (8) Damages caused by using facility services in a manner not recommended.
  2. In case of damages to the facility, compensation will be sought. If the offender is a minor, the legal guardian or supervisor will be held responsible.
  3. Differences between photos and actual services may occur due to seasonal or environmental changes. Unless there is a significant difference in price or service content, cancellations or refunds are not available. Please confirm by phone if necessary.

Article 11 (Handling of Deposited Items)

We do not accept liability for the loss or damage of personal belongings or cash. In case of emergencies, items held temporarily by staff are not insured.

Article 12 (Storage of User Belongings)

If items are left behind after use and the owner is identified, we will attempt to contact them. If contact cannot be made or the owner cannot be identified, we will handle items as follows:
(1) Valuables will be handed over to the nearest police station.
(2) Non-valuable items will be stored for one week and then disposed of in accordance with the Lost Property Act.
(3) If disposal or special shipping of left items imposes a burden on the facility, compensation will be charged.

Article 13 (Money and Valuables, User Property)

  1. Users are responsible for securing their own cash and valuables. The facility is not liable for loss or damage unless caused by facility negligence.
  2. Users are responsible for managing all belongings, including food, camping gear, vehicles, and bicycles. The facility does not manage user property.

Article 14 (Parking and Bicycling Responsibility)

We only provide parking and do not assume responsibility for the management of vehicles.

Article 15 (Use of Internet Communication)

Facility-provided internet services are used at the user's own risk. If misuse is deemed harmful, the facility may terminate usage and claim compensation for damages.

Article 16 (Cleaning Policy for Lodging)

Daily cleaning is not provided for consecutive stays unless the user stays four or more nights, in which case cleaning occurs on a specified day. Cleaning occurs every three days, and exceptions may apply based on reservation terms. Minimum cleaning is scheduled for hygiene, and users cannot refuse it.

Article 17 (Miscellaneous)

  1. The facility may amend these terms as needed for operations and will notify users accordingly.
  2. These terms are governed by Japanese law, with the Tokyo District Court as the exclusive jurisdiction for disputes.
  3. The Japanese version of these terms shall prevail.

Note:
The percentages represent penalties as a proportion of the basic accommodation fee.
If the number of days is reduced, a one-day penalty (first day) will be charged regardless of the reduction.

Weather Policy
We operate as usual in the rain. However, if a warning or special warning is issued for the Sammu area of Chiba Prefecture, no cancellation fees will be charged. In case of facility closure due to severe weather, we will notify the main reservation contact by the day before.
